When her flock of hens begin acting a little extra feathery, fiery, forgetful, and frazzled, Mae realizes her beloved hens are going through changes of their own. Even Rooster Doodle Do finds himself learning a thing or two about patience, compassion, and the importance of listening along the way.
From sweaty feathers and sleepless nights to mood swings and missing memories, the MenoClucks learn that menopause is a little easier with laughter, friendship, and a whole lot of grace.

Meet Crazy Cluck
Some days menopause is less “finding yourself” and more wondering why you walked into the room in the first place.
Crazy Hen knows the feeling. A little frazzled, a little scattered, and doing her best to keep it all together, preferably with coffee.
The Rooster Nobody Asked About
While the hens are busy navigating hot flashes, mood swings, sleepless nights and disappearing memories, Rooster Doodle Do is learning a lesson of his own: sometimes the best thing a rooster can do is stop trying to fix it, start listening, and maybe just bring snacks.

Meet the Woman Behind the Clucks
Hi, I'm Barbara,
I’m a wife, mom, grammie, writer, and woman who discovered that menopause has a rather interesting way of turning life upside down, and then asking you where you put your glasses.
The Farmer’s Wife and the MenoClucks grew from my love of humour and storytelling, and from the belief that women need more spaces where we can talk honestly about this season of life, and laugh about the ridiculous parts.
I created Menopause with Friends for the same reason: because sometimes the most comforting words another woman can say are, “Oh good… it’s not just me.”
